Rules of Golf150
Everything you need to know before you enter a competition.
How It Works
- Select Your Team — Pick 3 golfers whose combined odds are at least 150/1 for your team.
- The Cut — All 3 of your golfers must make the cut. If any one of them misses it, your team is eliminated.
- Tournament Purse — The entry with the lowest combined score (relative to par) across all four rounds wins.
Purse Distribution
Open Competitions
- 10% admin fee deducted from the tournament purse.
- Remaining 90% split: 1st — 70%, 2nd — 25%, 3rd — 5%.
Internal Club Competitions
- Entry fee decided by the club.
- Winner allocations decided upon by the club.
- 5% admin fee deducted from the total pot.
Tiebreakers
- Tied on combined score → compare each entry's best individual golfer score.
- Still tied → compare the second-best golfer, then the third-best.
- If still tied after all three → the purse for that position is shared equally.
Player Withdrawals & Replacements
- If a golfer withdraws before the tournament starts, entrants may swap that golfer for another eligible player (maintaining the 150/1 threshold) by notifying us by email prior to tee-off. Otherwise we will select a replacement with similar odds.
- Once the tournament is live, no substitutions — a withdrawn golfer counts as a missed cut (eliminated).
Scoring
- Live scores are updated automatically during the tournament.
- Combined score = sum of all 3 golfers' scores relative to par.
